Bilbao was the first port to receive the Adam Asnyk, launched in November last year, and. owned by the Chinese-Polish shipowners, Chipolbrok. Shipping agents, Marinter/Pérez & Cía. and stevedores, Agemasa, will attend the monthly service operated by Chipolbrok between Europe and different ports in the Far and Middle East respectively.
Bilbao is the only regular line offering this service in Spain: among its main destination ports are Jeddah in Saudi Arabia, Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, Mumbai in India as well as the Chinese ports of Xingang, Dalian and Shanghai, and Busan, Korea.
The Adam Asnyk is 200 metres long and its cranes have a combined 640-tonne lifting capacity.
