Storage and Distribution Zone

The logistics activities zone of the Port of Bilbao (ZAD), situated on lands reclaimed from the sea, and designed to provide optimum cover for the management and transport needs of its users, has loading docks, access gates on the premises, parking areas and offices. As it is near both the lorry-parking area and the rail terminal, it proves to be especially accessible.

This first phase, the land of which was tendered to Zierbena Bizkaia 2002 AIE is located in a plot measuring 41,120 m², with a total constructed surface area of 23,774 m², and is divided into various separate modules for the associates belonging to the Agrupación de Interés Económico (AIE).

The logistics activities area, situated in the land reclaimed from the sea by the Port Authority, has been specifically designed to deal with the management and transport needs of its users, with loading docks, access gates by the ship, parking areas and offices. Its proximity to the lorry park and the railway terminal make it all the more accessible.

Now that the second phase of the Storage and Deposit Zone has been developed and commercialised afterbeing carried out by Binaria 21, the Port of Bilbao has an area of 200,000 m2 within its service zone.

The following are now operating there: AZAL Servicios Logísticos, Centro Logístico delNorte(CBL),Decoexsa,Exportlan Terminal,Iberian Logistics Norte, Losal Steel Trading, Norbert Dentressangle Gerposa, Pasaje Azul (EUROCOYAL), Reconsa Logística, SELZI Servicios Logísticos Zierbena, Sergusa y Tasmar Logística.
